I don't think I have been to a graduation since I graduated from high school almost 8 years ago. This weekend I went to two in two days.
On Friday Shana and I drove to Ogden to go to John's graduation. It was good mostly because it was short, the speaker didn't take too long and there were not that many graduates. The speaker said something I really liked though. He was talking about ethical dealing in business and said one thing that everyone should have is enough "go to hell money". He explained that if your boss or partner or anyone you do business with is trying to pressure you into doing something unethical you need to have enough money put aside that you can say go to hell and leave the situation without screwing yourself over.
After the graduation John and I whipped up a sweet Brazilian BBQ.....yeah it was awesome in case you were wondering. We got some adorable family pictures and had a good ol time.
In keeping with the weekend of graduations Saturday was Shana's mom's graduation. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelors of Nursing. That gathering was a bit longer because they had over 700 graduates where as Weber State only had about 200 in the business school.
After the ceremony we had a great lunch at the Cracker Barrel and celebrated two days of graduations by doing absolutely nothing the rest of the day. What a life!
Sorry if this post is a little confusing I am writing it in the 40 second breaks I have between calls at work.
You can see the pictures I took here and the pictures John took here.
